Collection: Currency
Currency collecting is on the upswing. It's virtually in its infancy and poised for great things and incredible price increases the likes of which should be incredible.
More and more dealers are stocking Currency and as such so is the collecting public. What everyone realizes is the actual beauty and historic significance of these notes.
Many coin collectors are getting into Currency as well due primarily to the low pricing in relation to actual notes on the market. All one has to do is view population reports for any given note and realize that any Morgan Dollar with anywhere near a similar population report would sell in the tens of thousands of dollars and even hundreds of thousands of dollars. Granted, there are more Morgan Dollar collectors than Currency collectors but this author sees a shift and escalation in pricing in the coming decades.
It has to happen as these notes are disappearing from the marketplace and into collections and vaults never to be seen again for decades to come.
